Chapters

League of Minnesota Poets offers nine regional chapters throughout the state. Each provides local events, educational meetings, open mic nights, artist-poet collaborations, and much more:

• Heartland Poets meets in Brainerd Lakes area.
• Mississippi Valley Poets & Writers meets in the Twin Cities.
• Southern MN Poets meets in Mankato.
• Southeastern MN Poets call Rochester home.
• Grand View Poets are located in the St. Cloud/Sartell area.
• Story Portage meets in the Ely area.
• The Duluth Poetry Chapter meets weekly in the Duluth area.
• Cracked Walnut (link is external)  based in the Twin Cities, specializes in performance, sets up readings and festivals throughout the state. (If you would like a reading organized in your area or if you would like to participate in a reading, contact www.crackedwalnut.com. (link is external).
• Penned Poets  meets every Wednesday at 7 pm on Zoom.
